The Tiny Dresses are crocheted with Shamrock Yarns 100% Cotton 8/4, which is 100% cotton, using a 2.5mm crochet hook.

Size

The dresses measure 3x4cm. Hanging on the clothesline, the row of dresses measures 30cm.

Materials

• Crochet hook 2.50mm
• Darning needle for finishing
• (Possibly) stitch markers and row counter

Yarn consumption

Shamrock Yarns 100% Cotton 8/4

• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 02 – white, 4 grams
• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 06 – dark charcoal grey, 4 grams
• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 08 – dark brown, 2 grams
• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 10 – dusty denim blue, 4 grams
• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 15 – fresh green, 4 grams
• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 21 – dark Christmas red, 4 grams
• Shamrock yarns 100% cotton – 8/4, colour 26 – yellow, 4 grams

Abbreviation

dc - double crochet

ch - chain stitches

sl st - slip stitch

inc - increase (2 stitches in the same stitch)

Instructions

Dresses

Make 1 dress in each colour except dark brown No. 08 - with a 2.5mm needle.

Start by making 11 chain stitches, and join the row with a slip stitch.

• Inc, inc, 3 dc, inc, inc, 3 dc (14)

Do not crochet in the joined chain stitches, go to the stitch next to it (see picture 2).

• 1 dc, inc, inc, 5 dc, inc, inc, 4 dc (18)

Now you make the sleeves

• 2 dc, skip 4 dc, 5 dc, skip 4 dc, 3 dc (10)

• 10 dc

• 1 dc, inc x 3, 2 dc, inc x 3, 1 dc (16)
• 16 dc (16)
• 2 dc, inc x 4, 4 dc, inc x 4, 2 dc (24)

Finish with a slip stitch

Make a dress in each colour and fasten off at the bottom of the dress and leave the strand at the neckline.

The Clothesline

Dark brown no. 08 and a 2.5mm crochet hook

Take the brown colour and make 75 chain stitches, this is the clothesline the dresses are going to hang from.

Place the dresses on the row of ch and use the yarn end by the neck of the dresses to attach the dresses to the line. Fasten off.
