Painting on stone – Algae

Welcome to my little introduction to the marvellous hobby of painting on rocks.

Once you get started, you’ll only stop once the ink has run out and you have no more stones. You’ve been warned!

 

In this step-by-step guide, I will show you how you can paint and draw decorative algae using Posca. A simple but incredibly decorative design that’s especially suitable for Posca beginners.

Material: 

1 x Posca marker in the colour of your choice. A white marker is used in this tutorial.

  

1. Draw a circle

2. Draw lines from the middle toward the edges. Don’t worry if the lines are a bit crooked.

 

3. Draw lines all the way around, a bit like a bicycle wheel.

4. Outline the circle again to make it a little thicker

5. Repeat this with as many circles as you like. Et voilà!
