Robin the Fox

  

 

Recently, it has become very popular to crochet little animal figures. Robin the Fox surely belongs in that category as one of the cutest little crochet animals. He will be a great crochet project to make for your children or grandchildren, who can use him as a comfort toy or for playing with other crocheted animals. The crochet pattern for Robin the Fox is super easy to follow, whether you are an experienced crocheter or just getting started. Robin the Fox is crocheted in Mayflower Cotton 8/4, but you can also just a easily use other qualities as long as it has a 8/4 thickness

Measurements: Measures approx. 17cm in sitting position and approx. 30cm in standing position. 

Materials: Mayflower Cotton 8/4. Made from 100 % cotton. Yardage 50g = approx. 170m.   

Yarn consumption: 35g Orange (fv. 1406), 8g White (fv- 1402) and 4g Black (fv. 1443).

Crochet Hook: No 2.5mm

Assembly:

  1. Attach the ears on the head from the 3rd round. Make sure to place the middle part of the ear slightly backwards to create a slight bend on the ear.
  2. Then attach the head to the body.
  3. The tail is attached from round 12 and up.
  4. The nose is attached underneath the eyes.
  5. The belly is attached from where the head is joint and downwards.
  6. The legs are attached from the middle and out.
